What should I learn from this?

Accountability

Prayers, exercise, scripture study and even eating are all making improvements. I have so many things I could also be getting better at like earlier bed times and rising times, family history work, service outside my own family and so on, but I'm going to celebrate the fact improvements are happening.

Ponderings

As I listened to more of the Book of Ether this morning there was a lot of history being covered quickly. People being born, raised in iniquity and dying, or living after the manner of God and then passing on. I was left asking myself  what I'm supposed to take away and use to better myself from the stories of rapid history like this with generations coming and going, some righteous, some not. I'm not entirely sure, but I can at least say that I would hope to have it written of me for future generations to have been one that served the Lord and walked in righteousness.

Seesaw Days, There’s a chapter in Uncle Arthur’s bible stories called Seesaw Days. It’s about the BC history of the Jewish nation. They had good kings and bad kings and the people were righteous for awhile and sinful for awhile. There were always some righteous in the mix. Here’s a great thought: the people of Nineveh repented when Jonah gave his message.
